Leandro E. Iglesias (he/him) is a master's student in the Anthropology department at the University of New Brunswick. His work focuses on agricultural extractivism and peasant livelihoods in Colombia in Santander and the Chocó. He is currently examining narratives of sustainability in Santander's coffee industry, working closely with coffee growers and other stakeholders in Colombia's coffee supply chain.
Leandro holds a BA in Anthropology and Latin American Studies from McGill University, after which he spent time working in the CRM industry in Southern and Eastern Ontario, working alongside Indigenous communities, and other stakeholders, on archaeological projects. He began his graduate studies at UNB in the fall of 2024, specializing in coffee in Colombia.
